About iCON
iCON is a free annual art exhibition and community event located in Beverly, Massachusetts and hosted by Montserrat College of Art.
Highlighting the innovative strength of students, alumni, and local artists and their diverse backgrounds, iCON aims to bring people together to showcase, vend, and celebrate all creative identities in one location. iCON facilitates a range of creative workshops, portfolio reviews, exhibition vendors, and specific on-site community building events such as cosplay contests, and panel discussions.
We are an open, welcoming community and invite everyone to celebrate and participate in our creative space by featuring artisans both local and abroad!
iCON aspires to cultivate connections between people through art. By collaborating with artists and welcoming the public through our doors, we hope to bridge experiences and bolster a stronger creative community, create lasting friendships, and extend professional opportunities. Our mission is for iCON to nurture the connection of artists, businesses, and institutions together within a larger creative space so we can grow together.
Our Mission
iCON opened its doors in 2019 and has historically served our academic community by creating exhibition space for Montserrat students and alumni to sell their work to the public. For years, iCON has brought together local artistic movers and shakers to share their thoughts and wisdom through panels and keynote speeches to our exhibitors and attendees.
